lazyneesssss

i havent been writing on my blog often...cuz im being kind of lazy...:P But so far, I've been to las vegas and oregon for fencing competitions these past few weeks. Las Vegas was the same as usual...ya know, smoke everywhere and 90% of the population being tourists. Plus, we went to the Penn and Teller show there (awesomeness) and got there autograph. :) I wanted to watch the Jabbawockies from the dance group show thingy, but we didn't have a chance. :(
In Oregon, it was more fun, 'cuz we stayed there a lot longer because of spring break. First, we stayed in Portland, AND I HAD DA BEST CHOCOLATE EVER!!!!!!!!! It was imported from France, and it tasted like heaven. ^o^ We also had chocolate drinks (NOT hot chocolate) which was realllly awesome. I got some chocolate sardines for my friend back in Cali(lol). We also went biking in a two person fat bike, but that was nothing compared to the chocolate. *drools*
We went up to Oregon's snowy mountains, thinking of staying there for mountain climbing, but it was more dangerous than we expected...>.> Apparently, unless you're really experienced, you should go with a guide after 3 days of preparation with him/her.The weather changes really quickly too, so it'll get really foggy all of a sudden. You also need crampons, ice axes, blue bags (for your #1s and #2s), the ability to create an ice cave, the essential everday skiing clothes, some other infinitely expensive and professional stuff, and i think you also might need a stove or something for making hot food and water. We ditched the idea (the death rate is also really high...>.>). So instead, we went skiing. Skiing was the normal kind of skiing, except it was kinda icy. The ironic part was that the next day, we were planning on hiking up non-snowy mountains to see waterfalls, and that was the day it started snowing like crazy. T^T Bad timing on our part.
When, we hiked up the mountains, the thing that really caught my mind was the fact that there was so much MOSS. The trees literally had moss hanging from their branches, and the stones for supporting the trail so the mountain didn't fall on us were all green. The waterfalls were water-splattery, so all the little water particles floating from the 34 waterfalls on that mountain caused all that moss. Anyways, when we climbed up the mountain through the civilized trail, I got kinda bored, so I went straight up instead of going on the wiiiiiinnnddddiiinnnnng teeediioouuuuus traiiiiilllll. It was pretty fun, but I stopped after reaching the trail again. :) The waterfalls were absolutely wonderful, and when we got up, the scenery was just as pretty (my mom went CRAZY taking all those pictures with her cellphone). We visited to waterfall sites, each with a different hiking route and multiple waterfalls. We were kinda short on time though, so we didn't go all the way up the routes. I think one was called the Horsetail Waterfall and the other was the biggest waterfall on the mountain. The giant waterfall was pretty cool, because I got to see it on a bridge the cut right across the middle of it. It was really awesome. :) Here's some pics for your enjoyment:

Oh yeah, and I got 3rd in Y12....I think.....
